Tata Industries Limited (TIL) | Intern - Technology Investment Strategy (Mar’23 - Jun’23)
Facilitated senior leadership in decision making through:
● Developing insights into ad-hoc techno-commercial opportunities presented to TIL
● Consultant (Quantum Tech): Shared knowledge to aid development of an exploration roadmap
● Developed a model for a CSR plan to create new revenue channels for farmer communities in water-scarce regions of India | Opportunity of up to INR 20M+ revenue per year
Co-founder - Agriphany (Jan’23 - July’23)
● Carbon Credits via sustainable farming
● Developed a marker recognition ML algorithm for drones with 92% accuracy despite a vibration-induced blurry video input
● Secured a grant of INR 50K through IDEAS, IIT Bombay
Université Paris-Saclay (May’22 - July’22)
● Visiting Research Intern - Paris, France (on-site)
● Performed 3 biophysics experiments to study the origin of biomolecular condensates
● Discovered a correlation in viral DNA content and light absorption using a novel analysis
Research Experience
Bachelor’s Thesis (Jan’22 - Dec’22)
● Advisor: Professor Anshuman Kumar, Laboratory of Optics of Quantum Materials, IIT Bombay
● Discovered parameters allowing 0% radiation losses in a metamaterial
Reservoir training in Liquid State Machines (Oct’21 - Mar’22)
● Advisor: Professor Udayan Ganguly, IIT Bombay
● Novel Idea: Hypothesized the underlying mechanism of a brain disorder and achieved 75% accuracy in simulating it
Jr. Machine Learning Engineer - UMIC (Sep’19 - Sep’20)
● Impact: Designed the ML subsystem of an aerial robot which was later adopted & implemented by a team that won a world championship
● Only freshman to manage an entire subsystem (a role usually reserved for 3rd year students)
● Cleared the concept review & preliminary design review rounds of the Barcelona Smart Drone Challenge

● Impact: Secured INR 0.8 million in funding through a grant proposal pitched to the STP committee, IRCC
● Reduced expenses by 40% per drone by finding inexpensive procurement methods
● Designed a rigorous 7-day training program for recruits & mentored them through a month-long project

Achievements
● Top 25 countrywide in the Indian National Astronomy Olympiad; invited to OCSC ’19, the final stage of selection of the Indian delegation to the International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics
● Runner up, IBM Bluemix hackathon for developing a twitter monitoring AI tool using Watson’s NLU API; successfully pitched the app to industry leaders and beat experienced teams 2 years senior
● One among the 73 undergraduates selected nationwide for the NIUS (Physics) program at TIFR
● Recipient of the KVPY fellowship (funded by the Govt. of India); secured an All India Rank of 326
● Represented IIT Bombay all over the country and won prizes at prestigious dance competitions:
